What is the Grand Cross of Color?
The Grand Cross of Color is a designation given to girls and adults who have given exceptional service to an assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Traditionally Grand Cross is conferred upon a girl who is a Past Worthy Advisor and has served her assembly above and beyond what is expected. This is the highest honor that Rainbow can confer on a Rainbow Girl, Mason, Eastern Star, Amaranth, White Shrine of Jerusalem or Majority member of Rainbow.
Each year at Grand Assembly, the Grand Cross of Color Officers perform the Grand Cross Investiture. The new members are then welcomed into their ranks. Additionally, every November, the Grand Cross Team hosts the Grand Cross of Color Mystic Banquet. All members of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls are welcome to attend this banquet.
Are you a Grand Cross Member? Did you receive your invitiation in the mail to the Mystic Banquet in November? If not, email info@ctiorg.org.
