Past Grand Worthy Advisor 2006 - 2007

Hey there!

Greetings from all of Connecticut Rainbow and the 2006-2007 Stellar Superstars and Sensational Starlets! This year, we hope everyone will follow our theme of “Swing Into Service with CT Rainbow!” and join us in our many activities.

Our mascot for the year is the delightful Curious George. Our symbol is the star and our colors are green, blue and yellow. Our flowers are yellow carnations and the bow will be our honor stations. Our quote, said by Martin Luther King, Jr. is “Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Boundless Playgrounds is the charity I have chosen to raise money and awareness for this year. Boundless Playgrounds are playgrounds where children of all ages and physical and mental ability can play together seamlessly. Currently there are 24 of these playgrounds across Connecticut. Hopefully, through our can collection drive and other activities, we can raise money to help support the construction of a new playground. I am very excited about the upcoming year and can’t wait to see everyone in my travels. Please keep me informed of your assembly’s upcoming events. I am happy to visit if my schedule allows for it. The year ahead will be busy but I promise there is plenty of fun planned. Thank you for your support and all the smiles along the way!
