Past Grand Worthy Advisor 2004 - 2005

Hi Everyone!

Greetings from all of Connecticut Rainbow and the 2004-2005 Connecticut Grand Officers and Grand Representatives. We’re expecting to have a great year, remembering the importance of service while still having fun.

Our theme for the year is “Faith Will Lead You On.” Teddy bears are our mascot and butterflies are our symbol. Our colors are light blue and lavender, our flower is the daisy and Faith is the Honor Station.

This year I have chosen the Klingberg Family Center in New Britain for our charity project. We will be working with the kids in the Safe Home to help make their stay at Klingberg more pleasant and their rooms more inviting. The Safe Home houses children who are removed from their family for the first time due to abuse or neglect. It can house 16 children and aims to provide a comforting temporary home for them. Many children are able to continue attending their schools and many have visits with family members. Hopefully Connecticut Rainbow will be able to make a difference in these children’s lives by interacting with them as well as making their rooms a friendlier atmosphere. If you’d like to learn more about Klingberg, you can visit their website at www.klingberg.org

I’m looking forward to a wonderful year serving Connecticut Rainbow. I can’t wait to get everyone involved and excited. We have a great year planned with some very fun activities!

I hope to see everyone in my travels this coming year. Your support means so much and I greatly appreciate it.

Keep smiling!

In Rainbow Faith and Love,
