Past Grand Worthy Advisor 2005 - 2006

Hello to everyone,

Greetings from Connecticut Rainbow and the 2005-2006 Grand Officers and Grand Representatives. This year will be a blast; each one of us can bring fun and hard work to a great organization. We must remember to have a great time with those around us, and to help others through service.

Our theme this year is “Take a chance, make a change, and break away”. With this in thought, as young ladies we each are beautiful individuals and have so much to share with those around us. Our mascot is Tinker Bell and our symbol is the fairy. Our colors are hot pink and purple, and our flower is the Gerbera Daisy. Our honor stations are Hope and Service.

This year’s charity project will be the Boys and Girls Club. In the communities around us there are boys and girls of all ages who attend the Boys and Girls Club. Whether it’s an after school program or a place to get kids off the streets, the Boys and Girls Club is always there for everyone. We will be donating our time to help those who need us. Many kids who attend these facilities are not the best off, but the Boys and Girls Clubs gives these children a chance to grow and have a good time. Around the state there are numerous Boys and Girls Clubs, we encourage everyone to learn more about them and work with them throughout the year.

I am looking forward to a great year. I hope that everyone is very active and can join in the 2005-2006 Grand year. We have some great activities planned, and the more you get involved the more you will enjoy the Rainbow experience. This is a great time to make new friends and become closer to the people around you.

I hope to see everyone while traveling throughout the state, and I am looking forward to your support and friendship.

Never forget who you are, go one-step further and make the difference. Don’t wait for good things to come to you, and don’t forget in Rainbow you will always have someone there for you.
