On Sunday, November 2nd, members of Connecticut Rainbow continued their Sunshine Safari with a stop in Asia at an Official Visitation hosted by Ansonia Assembly #8, Meriden Assembly #11 and Hope Assembly #46. The members of these three assemblies beautifully performed the Heritage Degree, celebrating Rainbow's Masonic roots. Later, all attending were treated to Chinese food, as well as sushi made out of gummi worms and rice krispy treats! The girls even learned how to write some Chinese characters.
Additionally, each assembly of girls attending was given a task to build furniture out of the food that was collected for the State Miss Service's charity, the CT Food Bank. The girls had a lot of very creative ideas. So far, over a ton of food has been collected for donation.
