Hello from all of Connecticut Rainbow as well as 2009-2010 King Kandy’s Staff and Jolly’s Traveling Gum Drops. This year we will be “Following the Rainbow Trail to CandyLand!”  With the help of or mascot the Gingerbread man we will be traveling throughout the state to our themed visitations. We will be visiting the characters on the board such as Mr.Mint, Jolly, Gramma Nut, Lolly, and Princess Frostine.

This year’s our colors are Bubble Gum Pink, Candy Cane Red, and Jolly Rancher Blue. Our flower is the carnation and the quote is “Laugh as much as you breathe and Love as long as you Live”. Our symbol is the lollipop and our honor station is Fidelity.

During the year we will be collecting money and items to  go towards our charity “The Ronald McDonald House”. The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut is known as a “home away from home”. The house is a place where children and their families can stay while the child is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.  We also hope to spend time at the house with the families that are staying there.
