Hello everyone, my name is Alexa Rucinski, from Branford Assembly #19, and I am serving as this year's 2009-2010 State Miss Service. This year my mission is to reach out to many different people and offer friendship and support. To to do this, I am asking for donations for Life Haven. Life Haven is a temporary shelter in New Haven  for homeless pregnant women and women with young children. They assist their clients in securing and improving income, finding appropriate and safe housing, and enabling them to live independently. Life Haven houses around 150 families per year including 250 children. Life Haven also is proud to say that ninety percent of all clients move out into permanent homes. This year through the visitations, I am collecting items or monetary donations to give to Life Haven for their clients.
